0DTE Options Risk Calculator
Know your max loss, breakeven, and profit targets before you enter. Built for traders who size positions intentionally. The calculator takes a premium, a contract count, and an account size and shows the debit. It does not forecast where the contract will be later.
Trade Details
Enter a ticker such as SPY, QQQ, or IWM, the option premium, the number of contracts, and the account size. The page multiplies premium by the options contract multiplier and the contract count so you can see cash at risk before you send the order.

What is 0DTE?
0DTE (zero days to expiration) options expire the same day they're traded. They offer high leverage but carry extreme theta decay risk. Every dollar of premium you pay is at risk of expiring worthless by market close.
Why position sizing matters
Disciplined traders limit risk per trade relative to their account size. With 0DTE options, the probability of a total loss is significantly higher than with longer-dated contracts, making disciplined sizing essential.
Understanding breakeven
Your breakeven price is the strike price plus the premium paid. The underlying must move past this price for your trade to be profitable. With 0DTE options, you need this move to happen within hours, not days.
